Extra-Curricular Activities & School Clubs

New Marston Primary School provides high-quality wraparound childcare appropriate for children aged 4-11 in full time education. We open from 7.45am-8.40am for Breakfast Club and 3.15pm-6.00pm for After-School childcare ( for Year 1 -6). We do run an early years after-school provision until 5.30pm.

Breakfast Club
New Marston’s breakfast club offers hot and cold breakfast to the children from cereal and toast to treats such as pancakes and cooked breakfasts. The children can all sit down together amongst friends and staff and share morning conversations and get ready to start the day in a positive way.

After-School Club
Our After-School Club offers lots of activities and free play sessions where children can have fun with their friends in a physically and emotionally safe environment. Our After-School Club aims to create an environment of fun and relaxation but also one where a child can challenge themselves to try new things. Throughout our sessions, we aim to provide a diverse mix of activities to meet many interests.
Our After-School Club provides children with a comfortable transition from the structured school day to the out-of-school part of their day. The club uses our Dining Hall as their base. Along with the activities offered, this environment allows children the time to relax and enjoy themselves while still partaking in a variety of structured activities. The children can go outside to do activities (weather permitting) with staff members, enjoying different sports together, encouraging interaction, sharing, team building and having fun! We also offer arts and crafts, a reading area, cooking, lego and construction, board games and any help needed with homework or other learning.

We also have a range of After-School Clubs each day, please see information below:
